The Princess Who Lost Her Hair

These theoretical designs were for a Costume Design Studio Class. This is a one-act children’s show based around an African folktale with core themes of selfishness vs selflessness, and the emotional growth of a young woman. In my design, I leaned into the idea that this show could be done in a traditional Akamban marketplace, with the actors pulling the necessary props and fabrics from the surrounding vendors and stalls.
